Did you notice all the photos are vintage? Guess there's no hope for us stuck in the contemporary world. *sigh*

J: Yeah, they’re pretty sweet.

GPG: Me too.

Sasha: There’s hope…that’s what I titled the post ‘proof’…but maybe there is something to the fact that all the examples I found (and chose to share) are from a bygone era?

When I first saw these, I just looked through all the pictures and it got me thinking about the nature of love, and if things really are different for those of us seeking it in the 21st Century. Is the definition of love different today than it was 60 years ago? Was it easier to fall in love in 1950?

I know love exists…its out there…I just haven’t seen/felt anything resembling the kind of love these pictures are showing. It’s a nice thought though…

you know what, come to think of it, I have 'seen' that kind of love in relationships I’ve been around…friends…high school sweetheart type shit...maybe its just that I can't picture myself in any of those photos?

Also, nobody dresses like that anymore either...maybe that has something to do with it. They all make love look 'smart'.
